The Story Behind Georgian Tax Partners
Before the founding of Georgian Tax Partners, one of the partners, Thorsten Töpfer, already operated a tax and accounting service based in Tbilisi. The focus was initially exclusively on German accounting for German companies – carried out from Georgia.
Over time, more and more German entrepreneurs became aware of the business location and were interested not only in the German services, but also in the possibilities of corporate incorporation in Georgia. More and more frequently, the request arose whether they could also be supported with company formation, tax structuring, and ongoing accounting in Georgia.
Thus, a growing client base of German entrepreneurs with Georgian companies developed step by step. In order to cover this demand professionally and comprehensively, as well as to further expand local support, Thorsten Töpfer joined forces with the Georgian tax advisor Amirani Partsikanashvili. Together, they founded Georgian Tax Partners – with the goal of competently accompanying international entrepreneurs through tax and business matters in Georgia.
